Jay and Joe Will Be Presenting at Trimble Dimensions
Trimble Dimensions is coming up November 7-9, 2016 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas! This user conference is held every other year and attracts thousands of professional and technical innovators from all over the North American as well as around the world.
Jay and Joe have been fortunate enough to be accepted to speak at this years conference. They will be presenting a customer story about The Successful Implementation of Trimble Positions and Terrasync for Locating Utility Structures. Below is the abstract for the session.
With the fast paced world of changing technology and software there are many options for locating utility structures. Trimble, a leading provider of advanced location-based solutions, has developed tools to help integrate GNSS data, such as utility structures, into an ESRI environment utilizing Trimble Positions and Terrasync. Using these tools, Coles-Moultrie Rural Electric Co-Op and Lake Land College have combined to create a summer internship that focuses on the Trimble Positions and Terrasync workflow. Students at Lake Land College worked alongside the GIS department at Coles-Moultrie to successfully capture utility poles and underground power lines. They will be discussing this successful implementation and use of Trimble Positions and Terrasync.
Their session will be on Wednesday November 9, 2016 at 10:30AM PT in room Titan 2301A. If you are attending Trimble Dimensions please check out their session.
